About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients, providing speech therapy services to enhance communication skills and improve overall patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and individual patient needs.
Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric patients in various settings, including schools and clinical environments.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication development at home.
Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Strong background in pediatrics with a focus on speech therapy techniques.
Knowledge of patient care protocols, including feeding assessments.
Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy related to speech-language pathology.
Current Arkansas license and certifications.
